Pearson complied, and the TPA gave no pollution data to the City of Toronto upon the MoH's request. The ultrafine particulate matter in diesel for trains, and kerosene in planes, is very problematic for human health.West End Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09123850345055322462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2740651537037160911.post-78220526583303747682009-12-04T18:22:43.615-08:002009-12-04T18:22:43.615-08:00I am a member of CFUW, and on the poverty committe...I am a member of CFUW, and on the poverty committee. I have recently become concerned about the amount of air pollution from jet plane emissions, and would like to see a study of noise, heavy metals, and other noxious chemicals present in the air around airports.<br /> I am convinced that a lot of the criminal behaviours we are seeing in the Jane Finch corridor can be scientifically linked to these environmental toxins. This is only one of the reasons why jet travel should be discouraged, and eventually shut down. The costs are too high, both environmentally and socially.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
